Honestly? I really don’t. In fact I don’t see any sort of relationship between them other than them being tied to Harry and thus getting involved with his affairs until the sixth book, which is why I never really understood why they got together, because to me, Ron and Hermione were just friends if anything and it was through Harry that they became friends. A lot of this has to do with Ron and his lack of development/arc until the very last book, because Ron to me was just…there, and he didn’t really get any sort of actual active plot (disregarding that one time he got pissed at Harry in the fourth book) until the seventh book where he made his own decision and chose to leave. Because he was so passive I never really bothered to see him. Hermione was very active in her own way, much because of the label she had been given since birth and how she had to deal with that label like Harry had to deal with his. I don’t hate the romance between Hermione and Ron, because I mean, as a seven year old I just knew they’d get together because that is how every relationship goes- opposites attract- and that is why I never really liked it, because to me Harry and Hermione had a much deeper relationship. But that’s just me. I have more R/Hr friends around here than H/Hr fans  so it’s not like I can’t get along.
